Dining Table

This quintessential dining table was commissioned by a young couple who were looking for a table large enough to host six people comfortably with plenty of room for family style food service. The joints where the aprons meet the tapered legs are pinned, adding strength with a subtle flourish of style. I arranged the boards in the tabletop to accentuate the grain pattern and create areas of interest. The table is finished with varnish and hand-rubbed to a satin sheen for durable and long-lasting protection.
